As you implement your budget plan, notice which areas give you trouble. Perhaps you run out of money for an expense early in the month, or maybe you’re inconsistent in making your savings contributions. Review and adjust your plan as needed. Do the amounts in each of your categories align with your goals and values? Are you able to stick to your plan? Revisit your budget after 30 days and reflect on any necessary changes. Maximizing your money comes down to cash flow — the money flowing into your pockets as income and flowing out as expenses and debt.
