MoneyTeach: Bringing Together Educators and Personal Finance Curricula Providers

Money Teach Logo

MoneyTeach.org is a resource center where K-12 educators can search and select from a variety of personal finance lesson plans, course guides and other financial education materials. The project began as a joint collaboration between the two funding partners, the National Endowment for Financial Education’s® (NEFE®) and the University of Arizona.

In 2018 the resource center added four additional providers of personal finance curricula. The six partners now include:

  • The NEFE High School Financial Planning Program (HSFPP®)
  • The University of Arizona’s Take Charge Today
  • PwC's Earn Your Future
  • The FDIC's Money Smart
  • The Mu$eum of American Finance
  • Next Gen Personal Finance.

MoneyTeach provides a unique platform for educators to “share their experiences” with one another after teaching a lesson or facilitating an activity across multiple curricula providers. Educators new to teaching personal finance gain valuable insight from their experienced peers who share their insights and best practices in regards to specific lessons and activities.
